As Maze Environmental’s Chief Operating Officer, Matt works collaboratively with our clients, business partners, and Maze professionals to ensure we provide high quality, reliable equipment leasing and field service solutions.
Matt brings more than 25 years of extensive energy industry and subject matter expertise as a global business executive selling and delivering large-scale business and technology transformation programs for multi-billion-dollar, multi-national corporations; as well as leading start-up organizations with the design and implementation of cost-effective business models.
Prior to joining Maze, Matt spent more than 10 years as a partner with a diversified management consulting firm serving the energy industry. He led the firm’s technology practice across the US and Europe, and was responsible for business development, client service delivery, practice management and people development.
Previously, Matt was IT Director with Petroplus, the largest independent refining and marketing company in Europe, where he performed as the cross organization lead for all of the company’s M&A initiatives, as well as successfully delivering on a range of corporate business improvement initiatives.
Previous to Petroplus, he held various leadership roles with global consulting firms, including Andersen Consulting / Accenture. He launched Accenture’s regional energy and chemicals practice in Greater China, recruiting and developing a team of ~100 local professionals as well as leading business development efforts.
Matt’s proven success launching and scaling new business enterprises will be a tremendous asset to Maze Environmental; as will his pedigree of recruiting and developing high performing teams.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston. He serves on the Executive Board of Von’s Vision, a non-profit dedicated to providing eye exams and eye care to low-income children around the US.
