Ram heads the IoT Consultancy services for TCS in NA. He has about two decades of extensive industry experience that includes developing business solutions for a wide cross section of industries from smart/connected homes & buildings, energy & resources, industrial automation & manufacturing, transportation, supply chain, remote health care, and smart grid. He has established a number of industry-sponsored university research programs in IOT-related areas (intelligent buildings, smart grid), resulting in successful joint proposals to secure US government funding worth $3+ million, leading to the development of new technologies. Ram has been awarded 6 US patents, 4 of them IOT related in various technology areas and two dozen+ publications in refereed conferences and journals. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S in Electrical Engineering (EE), and M.A. in Mathematics, University of Pittsburgh, B-Tech in EE from IIT Chennai.
