Jonathan has 7 years of experience as an aerospace engineer working on fluid components for SpaceX’s Falcon booster & Cargo/Crewed Dragon capsule, Blue Origin’s New Shepard’s propulsion module, ion drag pumps onboard the ISS at MIT’s Space Propulsion Lab, and various mechanical & optical systems at Northrop Grumman. Prior to joining AWS, he was a digital twin lead at Ansys focusing on BD, GTM strategy, and sales enablement for various verticals including Federal/Aerospace/Defense, Healthcare, Industrial, and Oil & Gas. At AWS, Jonathan is a WWSO Principal Specialist focusing on developing technical BD and GTM strategy for digital twins. Jonathan obtained his M.S. in 2011 and his Ph.D. in 2014 from Columbia University with a focus on meshless CFD with Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics and received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008.
