David Crawley David is a Professor of Practice at the University Of Houston College Of Technology. He is a certified innovation professional and published senior executive for reputational risk, brand creation, management, corporate intelligence, marketing, and emerging market and product development in the energy industry. At the College of Technology he lectures on Innovation, and Leadership. He also serves as a member of the Dean’s staff and is on the faculty of the Digital Media program as subject matter expert for digital asset management and population-based computing while building commercial partnerships. David has extensive innovation experience working with companies such as: Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Hallmark, Southwestern Energy and MARS-Uncle Ben’s. For eight years he served as Vice President at Idoneous Global, a full-service security and intelligence firm, as a corporate intelligence analyst. His background includes working with energy and engineering companies such as: EXXON, Neighbors, KBR, FMC Technologies, Chevron, SMT, Texaco, Southwestern Energy, and many others. For several years he led Hewlett-Packard (HP) business units worldwide to introduce software as a service population-based computing. As Deputy CEO for Y&R Advertising Agency he was responsible for the Moscow office reorganization and supporting Russian and Western businesses seeking to develop brands and opportunities in emerging economies. Complementing David’s energy marketing is his consumer activities with beverages and packaged goods for PepsiCo business units where he co-launched Frito-Lay/Russia. Working with PepsiCo operations he developed new product introductions in Italy, Mexico, Cyprus, and Eastern Europe in addition to field marketing with local bottlers in the US.
