Sujit Kumar has been at the forefront of oilfield innovation for over two decades. As the Director of Digital Productions and Edge, and the founder and former CEO of Agora, an SLB-owned edge intelligence startup, Sujit is driven by the confluence of oilfield operations, technology, sustainability, and culture, constantly seeking new pathways at this dynamic intersection. The Digital Production Portfolio, under his stewardship, looks to enhance productivity and sustainability in production operations. Simultaneously, it exploits the potential of edge AI and IoT to instigate a transformative wave across the energy industry.

Based in London, Sujit has held multiple leadership roles globally throughout oilfield operations, technology, and marketing. Sujit is an academic powerhouse with a BS and MS in petroleum engineering from IIT and a mini-MBA in Oil and Gas from the UK's CWC School of Energy. He also holds executive certificates from MIT, UC Berkeley, and IMD Switzerland in Artificial Intelligence, Product Management, and Executive Finance. As a University Ambassador of IIT Delhi and a 20-year Society of Petroleum Engineers member, Sujit frequently shares his insights at industry events, such as CERAWeek, and in respected publications like World Oil and Hart Energy.
